This policy explains how Summit Discounts uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Related technologies — local storage, pixels, and software development kits inside advertising code — work differently but serve similar purposes, and we refer to all of them as “cookies” here.

Why we use them

Strictly necessary. Keeping the site secure and functional, remembering a consent choice, and balancing server load. These cannot be switched off from within the site.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read, how visitors arrive, and where pages perform poorly. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site, not to identify individuals.
Advertising. Our third-party advertising partners set cookies to select ads, limit how often the same ad is shown, and measure whether an ad campaign worked. Depending on your consent and your region, some of these cookies may be used for personalised advertising.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by companies other than us — analytics and advertising providers, including Google and its advertising partners. We do not control those cookies, and the data collected through them is governed by each provider’s own privacy policy.

How to control cookies

Where required by law, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the consent control on the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode that discards them at the end of a session. Blocking all cookies may break parts of the site.

Device-level advertising controls are available through your browser and operating system, and most mobile platforms offer a setting to limit ad tracking. Google provides its own advertising controls at adssettings.google.com.

Changes

We update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be reflected in the consent control as well.
